By accessing or using the merry-meadow website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
Services Description
merry-meadow provides culinary education services including workshops, private mentorship, menu development, recipe translation, and group exploration sessions. All services are provided for educational purposes and do not constitute professional dietary or medical advice.
Booking and Payment
When you register for a service, you are making a booking request. Your booking becomes confirmed once we send you a confirmation email and you complete the required payment. Prices are listed in Australian dollars and include applicable taxes.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel or reschedule a booking with the following notice periods:
- Workshops: 7 days before the scheduled session for a full refund
- Private mentorship: 48 hours before the session for a full refund
- Ongoing programs: Within 7 days of initial confirmation for a full refund
Cancellations made with less notice may receive partial refunds or credit toward future services at our discretion.
Participant Responsibilities
As a participant in our programs, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about dietary restrictions and allergies
- Arrive on time for scheduled sessions
- Follow safety guidelines and instructions provided during workshops
- Respect other participants and instructors
- Not reproduce or distribute proprietary recipes and materials without permission
Intellectual Property
All content provided through our services, including recipes, instructional materials, techniques, and written resources, remains the intellectual property of merry-meadow. You may use these materials for personal, non-commercial purposes but may not redistribute, publish, or claim them as your own work.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our educational services are provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties about:
- Specific skill improvements or outcomes
- Suitability of recipes for your particular health conditions
- Accuracy of third-party information or ingredients
Results from our programs vary based on individual practice, prior experience, and dedication.
Limitation of Liability
merry-meadow and its instructors shall not be liable for:
- Injuries sustained during participation in workshops or while practicing techniques
- Adverse reactions to ingredients, unless we were informed of relevant allergies and failed to accommodate them
- Equipment damage in your own kitchen during private sessions
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services
Food Safety and Allergies
While we take precautions to prevent cross-contamination and accommodate dietary restrictions, we cannot guarantee that our teaching kitchen is completely free of allergens. If you have severe allergies, please discuss appropriate accommodations with us before booking.
Photography and Recording
We occasionally photograph workshops for educational and promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to being photographed unless you notify us otherwise. You may not record video or audio during sessions without explicit permission from all participants and instructors.
Changes to Services
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service with reasonable notice. If a significant change affects a service you have already booked, we will offer you the option to proceed with the modified service or receive a full refund.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Victoria.
Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
